Common Wealth Games 2010, Delhi (October 3rd, 2010) provides a historic opportunity to exhibit and showcase India’s rich and cultural heritage to the world. The games proposed dates are 3 October 2010 to 14 October 2010 inclusive of the Opening and Closing Ceremonies.

The Nineteenth Common Wealth Games 2010 are scheduled from 3 October to 14 October, 2010 in Delhi the capital of  India. This is the best time to travel to Delhi because the weather and temperature  is very pleasant in October.

 You can visit Delhi’s numerous heritage sites and monuments, world class hotels, cuisine and restaurants. For shopping purpose there are various malls and shopping outlets, small and also big street markets where you can find all things which you need for your living like cloths, jewelry, decorative items, food, books, idols, fancy ornaments etc. .

Delhi is heart of India, from the world’s greatest monument Tajmahal is located few hours away, also it is close to the colourful state of Rajasthan which is famous for its forts and palaces, tales of valour  and wildlife parks etc.

The opening ceremony of  Common Wealth Games 2010 is scheduled at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Delhi. This is the first time the Commonwealth Games will be held in India and the second time the event has been held in Asia (after 1998).

Culture Programme: The Opening and Closing Ceremonies of the XIX Commonwealth Games 2010 Delhi are planned to be a dazzling display of Indian creative energies that will live in the memories of the spectators for a long time.
